The University at Buffalo – North CampusThe Workshop will be held at the University at Buffalo. More specifically, the sessions will take place on the North Campus in the Davis Hall atrium and lecture hall (room 101). A map indicating the location of Davis Hall is available here. Additional maps of UB's North Campus are available here.
Suburban SettingUB North Campus is located about 20 minutes from downtown Buffalo, which is experiencing a resurgence in industry, tourism and most important: breweries! The campus is located about 10-15 minutes from the Buffalo-Niagara Airport, and about 5-10 minutes from Williamsville, the neighboring village center where the hotels are that you may wish to stay at.
Variable WeatherWeather in Buffalo in mid-late March can be quite variable. It can be balmy and sunny (out like a lamb?), overcast and draped with lingering snowbanks, or be experiencing new snowfall. Check the weather before, and you may want to bring clothes for both sunny and snow-storm conditions.
TransportIf you are driving to Davis Hall, let us know and we can provide a free parking pass. Otherwise, the workshop-sponsored hotels all provide a free shuttle.
